Legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld passed away in February, but his work lives on. Before he died, he collaborated with L’Oréal Paris to design a makeup range, and it will launch in September.

The news broke on Instagram and WWD

Reports describe the makeup line as similar to Lagerfeld’s “rock-chic style,” combined with “Parisian elegance.” It will debut September 20th online, followed by a global launch on September 27th during Paris Fashion Week.

Délphine Viguier-Hovasse, the global brand president of L’Oréal Paris told WWD:

“All of our fashion designer collaborations are an honor, but this one is particularly meaningful.”

The fashion, beauty, and film industries came together to pay tribute to Lagerfeld last week at a memorial held in Paris called “Karl For Ever.”
